Eugene Auto Repair

Once again, the guys at Downtown Auto Repair - Eugene, OR were spot on, fair and fast! We’re leaving for home in Ohio tomorrow, but they have made our temporary home in Oregon quite pleasant. This was the third emergency in 12 months (2 Subarus) and they never faltered. Hoping we can find a repair shop of equal caliber back home! :0)

When I first purchased my car it had an autostart feature. That stopped working for about 2 years. I took my vehicle in to have diagnostics done for the suspension as a second opinion. I was unhappy to learn the car needed more repairs 😑. I love the inspection report with photographs of repairs needed. After all the repairs were done on my vehicle I was extremely pleased to have the autostart function work again. I didn't know what I was missing until I had the suspension replaced. Now it's smooth driving! Thank you all for you for all the hard work and time invested in the care of my vehicle!!! Keep up the good work!!!

The text messaging system they use to show the customer the diagnostics is great! The descriptions and illustrations pointing out the issues are extremely helpful in making the decision to repair problems. Everything that was performed to my vehicle was done timely and communicated extremely clear to me so that I had no surprises when picking up my vehicle. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone needing any sort of vehicle repairs or just a thorough vehicle inspection.

I found a vehicle in the area that I wanted to purchase. I called around to quite a few places to see if anyone was available to do a pre-purchase inspection over the weekend with no luck. That is, until I found this place! I was informed that they do “virtual” inspections and that all that would be required would be for the seller to drop off the vehicle and they would email me the info. They also let me know they could fit me in next day! They were as friendly as could be and the information I received back was excellent. I live in Portland, but wish I lived in the area just so that I could use them as my regular mechanics. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!!!
